Julien L. Pham, MD, MPH, is a physician, entrepreneur, investor, educator, and speaker who has spent his career working across the boundaries of healthcare, business, technology, and innovation.

He co-founded RubiconMD and served as its Chief Medical Officer, later becoming President and Chief Operating Officer of Genprex, a publicly traded biotechnology company. Today, he is Founder and Managing Partner of Third Culture Capital, Senior Advisor for Healthcare + Life Sciences at the Harvard Innovation Labs, and an educator through entrepreneurship programs at the Harvard Innovation Labs and HMS Executive Education.

Julien’s perspective comes from more than the range of roles he has held. It comes from making consequential decisions at different points within the same interconnected system. He has worked as a physician, operator, founder, investor, advisor, and ecosystem leader. This allows him to see how incentives, evidence, institutions, and people interact, and to connect dots that are often examined separately.

A third culture kid, Julien has spent much of his life translating between cultures, disciplines, and ways of thinking. That experience shapes his work with leaders navigating complexity, uncertainty, and change. Through speaking, workshops, and strategic advisory, he helps people challenge familiar assumptions, widen the field of possibility, and act with greater clarity.
